To honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, a pair of firefighters climbed the height of the World Trade Center on a Stairmaster in a Planet Fitness gym in Warner Robins, Georgia. The men were wearing full gear as they climbed.
According to witnesses, the duo began their ascent at 8:46 a.m., the moment American Airlines Flight 11 hit the north tower of the World Trade Center. In a video shared on social media, the guys can be seen wearing turnout coats, boots, and helmets and one of them appears to have an oxygen tank on his back.
“Two firefighters at my gym walking all 110 stories of the World Trade Center and back down in remembrance of 9/11 and to honor all the fallen heroes,” Chelsea Renee Farmer posted on Facebook along with a video of the men in action.
