Wanna know the difference between Nick Foles and 35-year-old journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick?
One is the reigning Super Bowl MVP and the other is a starting QB.
Oh yeah, and that second guy, Fitzpatrick—or Fitz-magic to his friends—is also the only player in the history of the NFL to throw for 400+ yards and 4 TD’s in two consecutive weeks.
But enough about the starter for the Tampa Buccaneers, let’s talk about the starter for the Philadelphia Eagles, who the team announced yesterday would once again be Carson Wentz.
This after Wentz was medically cleared and will now start against the Colts on Sunday.
The Eagles hope Wentz will be penciled in for the rest of the season.
And let’s face it—even though this Monday night’s game is the last one Fitzpatrick is scheduled to start while Jameis Winston serves his three-game suspension.
You have to figure Bucs fans are starting to hope it’s Fitzpatrick who is penciled in the rest of the way for them.
And if he can keep Pittsburgh winless this Monday, something tells me that is exactly what will happen.
