Ohio State Apologizes For Graphic Shared On Twitter

Ohio State is apologizing for a tweet it sent out on its football account Wednesday morning.

The tweet was aimed at Penn State and its whiteout game tradition where fans wear white clothing for a nighttime kickoff.

In the tweet, a picture of an Ohio State player holding a finger to his lips is accompanied by the word silence.

Yesterday, Ohio State deleted the tweet and issued an apology after critics said the graphic was in poor taste because of the school's failure to take action against staff accused of sexual misconduct and domestic abuse.
