Panic! At The Disco is the latest artist confirmed for next week’s American Music Awards. The band is set to pay tribute to Queen, and will perform “Bohemian Rhapsody,” from the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.
“If there is one song that I wish I would’ve written myself, it’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’” Panic! frontman Brendon Urie shares. “Freddie Mercury’s genius is clear from the very first note to the last and I’m honored to be able to pay tribute to Queen with my performance.”
The performance will be introduced by Rami Malek, Joe Mazzello and Gwilym Lee, the stars of the upcoming Queen biopic, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which is set to open November 2nd .
The 2018 American Music Awards air October 9th on ABC.
