Seems like news of the New England patriots and Tom Brady’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.
Because it was just two weeks ago that the Patriots lost their second straight game to fall to 1-2 and two games behind the then 3-0 Miami Dolphins—and so many in the media said the sky was falling in New England.
Until six days later when the Patriots dispatched of those fish—well, mammals—and their perfect record beating Miami by a score of 38-7.
Then, just four days later, the 41-year-old Brady was good four TD’s—including a one-yard plunge as the Patriots beat the Colts last night 38-24.
And the TD that would prove to be the game winner, this 34-yard strike to Josh Gordon—giving the Pats a 31-17 lead—and Brady his 500th career TD toss.
Something tells me the Pats are going to be just fine—and very busy in late January.
