You may recall that Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn announced their departure as hosts of “Project Runway” after 16 years on the show. With pre-production of season 17 already underway, it’s finally been announced who will be replacing them.
The new season will see model Karlie Kloss and designer/Season 4 winner Christian Siriano as the show’s new pair of hosts. Kloss will reportedly also be the executive producer. They’re both thrilled about the roles, recently releasing statements announcing the news.
“As someone who grew up watching ‘Project Runway,’ I could not be more excited to host and produce a series that provides a platform to aspiring American designers,” says Kloss in her statement. “‘Project Runway’ has offered such wonderful opportunities for so many and I’m excited to take on this role as a mentor,” adds Siriano.
