More drama continues to plague the UFC after that brawl Khabib Nurmagomedov started outside the ring last weekend.
One of the guys who jumped into the octagon and attacked Conor McGregor during the post-fight chaos was UFC fighter Zubaira Tukhugov.
After the match, UFC president Dana White made it clear that Tukhugov is done for good. But that’s not sitting well with Khabib, who’s now saying in an Instagram post that he’ll leave the UFC if that happens.
“If you decide to fire him, you should know that you’ll lose me too,” he writes. “We never give up on our brothers in Russia and I will go to the end for my Brother.”
He also said he hopes they choke on the money they’re holding. And PS? The Nevada State Athletic Commission plans to suspend both Khabib and McGregor either way.
Who knew the UFC was this much of a soap opera?
