LeBron James won his first ever televised game as Laker—beating the Warriors Wednesday in a preseason game by a score of 123-113.
But you probably knew that because you watched.
And if you didn’t then you are in the minority as the game drew nearly 2 million viewers, making it ESPN’s most-watched preseason game ever.
The game—which was played in Las Vegas—was watched by 1.98 million viewers, the network said yesterday. A spokesman says that is the most viewers for an NBA preseason game on any network since at least 1994, which is as far back as the records go.
And speaking of records, something tells me we can expect a few more viewing records this season as LeBron invades L.A.
