I guess when you sign a $95-million-dollar contract you want to make sure you deposit those sizable checks at a reasonable hour.
I mean how else do you explain New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. leaving the field last night with two seconds left on the clock before halftime.
And two seconds may not seem like a lot of time but is enough time to throw a Hail Mary pass—to the highest paid receiver in all of the NFL—whose team is trailing 24-6 and needs any points they can get.
Instead, the prima donna once again showed his true colors heading to the Giants’ locker room and leaving the offense to throw a meaningless pass to Sterling Shepard on the final play of the half.
Although something tells me, it meant a lot to the Giants.
Hey, in Beckham’s defense, maybe he was tired after catching an entire TWO passes for a dozen yards.
Almost like Eli Manning had no time to throw the ball because the team spent all their money on a wide receiver rather than a few offensive lineman.
Anyway, should be interesting to see if OBJ gets fined… AGAIN!
Oh yeah New York, money well spent.
