Packers Beat Niners On Crosby’s FG In Final Seconds

In case you still aren’t sure why Aaron Rodgers is the highest paid player in the history of football—well, it’s because he keeps putting up historic performances.

And last night was no different as the 49ers and backup QB CJ Beathard were all but on the verge of upsetting the nine-point favorites—leading the game 30-23 when Rodgers was unable to complete a pass from the four-yard line with just under eight minutes left.

But the Packers defense managed to hold the Niners on the next two drives, allowing Rodgers to move his Packers 58-yards in just four plays to tie the game at 30 apiece with just 1:55 left—when he hit Davante Adams with this perfect 16-yard, game-tying pass.

Then, with just seconds left it was Mason Crosby—the man who missed four field goals in his last game—finding redemption with the game winning field goal.
