If they do another purge movie, they should set this one in Oakland.
Because for the second time in as many months, the Raiders and Jon Gruden have parted ways with some top five overall picks in exchange for a first-round pick.
This time it was wide receiver Amari Cooper who the Raiders sent to the Cowboys for a first-rounder—which seems fair because they took Cooper in the same round just three years ago with the fourth overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
The Cowboys have to be excited to get a legitimate Number 1 receiver after using a wide receiver by committee approach this season that has them sitting at 3-4 and QB Dak Prescott 21st overall in QBR (54.0).
They are hoping Cooper can get back to his old form from 2016 when he had a career best 83 receptions and 1,153 receiving yards.
Because that will help Prescott get back to his 2016 form which was also his best year—with 3,367-yards and 23 TD passes.
