Twenty One Pilots are currently on the road for their Bandito Tour in support of their new album “Trench.” They recently took the time to visit the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri to play for some fans who can’t make it to one of their concerts.
The duo made up of singer Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun put on a surprise acoustic performance of their song “We Don’t Believe What’s On TV” for the teen patients. The visit comes after a music therapist helped the hospital put together a video to invite the band, featuring staff members and patients singing Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love,” which the Twenty One Pilots are known for previously covering.
“Music’s gotten me through hard times,” said Dun of the visit. “Coming and seeing what some of these kids, you know, battle every day – and using music – makes me feel emotional.”
