Two Indians Take Home Silver Slugger Awards

Two Cleveland Indians are taking home the Silver Slugger Award as top hitter at their position in the American League.

Francisco Lindor earned his second Silver Slugger at shortstop and Jose Ramirez notched his second at third base.

Lindor became the first shortstop in MLB history with at least 35 home runs, 40 doubles, and 20 stolen bases in a single season while Ramirez finished no less than fourth in six major offensive categories.

The duo become the first Indians to win back-to-back Silver Sluggers since Roberto Alomar and Manny Ramirez did it in 1999 and 2000.
