Cleveland Indians Unveil New Uniforms As Chief Wahoo Officially Retires

The Cleveland Indians unveiled new refreshed uniforms for the 2019 season yesterday without the Chief Wahoo logo which has been officially retired.

The Indians will wear two styles of cap next year with a block letter C, with one in solid navy blue and one featuring a red brim.

The biggest change is a red home jersey that replaces the navy blue alternates the club has been wearing for decades.

It will mark the first time since the 1977 season the Tribe has had a red jersey as part of their official uniform scheme.
