Blue Jackets Score Seven Goals To Win Close Game In Detroit

The Columbus Blue Jackets scored three early goals and then had to scramble for their lives as they beat the Detroit Red Wings 7-5 at Little Caesars Arena.

The Jackets led at one point by four goals during the second period before the Red Wings rallied to cut the lead to one.

Pierre-Luc Dubois' second goal of the game gave the Blue Jackets a 6-4 lead but the game wasn't decided until Seth Jones put one in Detroit's empty net with only 90-seconds left.

Columbus will next play on Thursday when they return to Nationwide Arena to host the Minnesota Wild.
