Indians General Manager Downplays Trade Talks For Corey Kluber

Indians general manager Mike Chernoff and president of baseball operations Chris Antonetti are downplaying the trade rumors surrounding staff ace Corey Kluber at the MLB Winter Meetings.

Almost as soon as the meetings opened on Monday, media insiders began reporting the Indians and Dodgers were discussing a possible trade for Kluber who won 20-games last season and finished third in the voting for the Cy Young Award.

Naturally, as Indians front office personnel began pushing back against any trade discussions, two more suitors appeared on the hot stove as both the Yankees and the Brewers have reportedly reached out to Cleveland about acquiring Kluber.
