Blue Jackets Squeak Past Golden Knights For Needed Home Ice Win

Blue Jackets captain Nick Foligno scored the game's only goal to send Columbus to a 1-0 victory over Las Vegas at Nationwide Arena.

Playing in his 800th career NHL game, Foligno scored just 40-seconds into the third period to break a 40-minute long deadlock between the two teams.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 28-saves for Columbus to earn the team's first shutout of the season.  Artemi Panarin was ruled out before the game with a lower-body injury and is listed day-to-day for the Jackets who next play on Thursday when they host the New Jersey Devils.
