The holidays are a season of giving but hey, let’s be honest, it’s also a time for putting that silly diet aside.
And it seems like Alex Bregman of the Houston Astros has found a way to combine both with maximum Holiday Cheer results.
See for yourself in this video Bregman posted to his YouTube on Christmas Eve as the Houston superstar surprised several fast food workers with $1,200 in tips for working so close to Christmas.
Bregman visited several different fast food restaurants. After pulling up to the drive-thru window, he would ask if the worker accepted tips. If the answer was yes, he would hand them $100.
Bregman’s biggest giveaway came at a KFC. When the drive-thru worker informed Bregman they had a crew of seven workers that night, the 2018 All-Star game MVP handed out $700 so everyone on the crew would get an unexpected Christmas bonus.
Yup, those are the cat like reflexes that helped him earn the 2018 All Star Game MVP.
The highlight of the video though is seeing how shocked and grateful the workers were to be receiving the surprise tip. Their reactions are joyous and priceless. Perhaps not all of them knew who Bregman was before this event, but they certainly appreciated the random act of kindness.
