Report: Nick Foles Likely To Be Traded This Offseason

Nothing says “thank you” like an all-expenses paid trip to anywhere.

Which is exactly what it appears the Eagles will be giving Nick Foles after he once again saved their season.

Well… kinda.

Because the reigning Super Bowl MVP—who after yesterday’s incredible game winning TD in the final minute of the game in the Eagles 16-15 win over the Bears may just get to keep that title—is reportedly getting an all-expenses paid trip anywhere… else.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Eagles are expected to go hand the starting gig back to Carson Wentz while working through a quality trade market for Foles.

And it makes sense as Wentz is the QB of the future and Foles stock is above and beyond an all-time high that—after yesterday’s win—can only go higher with each win.

Say what you want about the other QB’s that will be available like free agent Teddy Bridgewater—who started a meaningless Week 17 game for the Saints—or thirty-three-year-old Joe Flacco—who is expected to be available—but Foles has proven he is a leader on and off the field.

Those two come with baggage.

Foles may very well come with two Super Bowl rings.
