Blue Jackets End Road Trip With Shutout Loss To Tampa

The Columbus Blue Jackets ended their three-game swing through the state of Florida with a 4-0 loss to the Lightning in Tampa.

The Lightning remain one of the hottest teams in the league and showed it early by jumping out to a two-goal lead in the first period.

Columbus lost two players in the second period when Markis Hannikainen and Brandon Dubinsky left with injuries and did not return.

The Jackets will look to get back in the win column when they come back home to Nationwide Arena on Thursday for a game against the Nashville Predators.
