Meet sweet Hollie.
This precious gal is a Blue Tick hound and is thought to be a purebred! At approximately 2 years old, she’s lived a neglected life. Arriving at the shelter, it was determined that she is heartworm positive. Heartworm comes from a mosquito bite so this is a very preventable disease and could have been avoided, as all dogs should be on monthly heartworm preventative. The good news is; she will be treated. Treatment will be included in her $28 adoption fee! We think this might be the bargain of the century!
At 60 pounds, Hollie is full-grown and considered a larger, medium-sized pup. She is quite energetic and plays well with other like-minded dogs. This sweet girl enjoys a competitive game of tug of war so expect to lose! And she covets her toys as if they are precious gems.
