Shelters are no place for puppies. Not just because it’s not a home, but because many transient dogs have the potential to bring illness into a shelter. Because young pups have developing and fragile immunities, they are far more susceptible to it than a dog that has made it past the puppy stage.
An adopter needs to understand the needs of a puppy. Kind structure, containment, proper, nutrition, exercise, and mental stimulation are a must!
