Variety reports actor LeVar Burton will get his shot to guest host the iconic game show JEOPARDY as the show gives different personalities the chance to "feel out" what it might be like to take the place of the great Alex Trebek, who passed after a lengthy cancer fight.
Burton's quest to host has earned him quite the viral following. He's been campaigning on social media for the gig, and his fans have been extremely vocal with their support for the actor, who played GEORDI LaFORGE on STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION.
