HILLIARD, Ohio (WTVN) -- A high speed chase on I-270 early Friday morning ended with a fiery crash and the suspect taking off on foot.

The chase started around 3:22 a.m. when an officer noticed a vehicle speeding on Cemetery Road and learned that the owner of the vehicle had outstanding warrants.

Speeds reached about 100 mph before the suspect tried to exit at West Broad Street. They lost control and crashed. They ran from the scene and have still not been arrested.

Police don't know if the person driving the car is the registered owner.
