UPS Workers Build Ramp For A Veteran

Recently, 76-year-old Vietnam veteran David Wray fell down the steps at his Shepherdsville, Kentucky, home, so his wife reached out to the nonprofit Ramp It Up for help.

Started by 40-year UPS employee Greg Schneider, Ramp It Up helps veterans, their families, and people with mobility issues across the country by building wheelchair ramps.

With help from the UPS Foundation, Ramp It Up volunteers built a wheelchair ramp at the Wrays’ house last Thursday.
