Man Gets Heart Transplant After Weather Ruins 1st Chance

We told you earlier this year about Patrick Holland, an Alaskan man who previously missed a heart transplant opportunity due to a canceled flight and temporarily moved to Seattle to be closer to when a new heart became available.

He was given a place to stay by some kind strangers and now after a few months of waiting, a heart became available, he underwent successful transplant surgery last week and is now recovering.

His wife has been documenting their journey on social media and expresses gratitude to the donor, medical team, and those who have supported them during this challenging time.
