Two down, five to go.

The South Korean supergroup BTS is on hiatus, as each member enters mandatory military service in their home country.

Jin was the first to enter the South Korean army last December; now J-Hope has become the second, with the remaining five lining up also to do their duty.

The plan is for BTS to reconvene in 2025 once all band members have completed their tours of duty; as for J-Hope, he posted his last social media post as a civilian to Weverse on Monday: "I love you, Army (The BTS fan club). I'll see you again," with photos of himself with a military buzz cut.
