One co-star and friend of Jamie Foxx has shared his relief after finally getting in touch with the star who’s been troubled by health issues recently. John Boyega, who stars alongside Foxx in “They Cloned Tyrone,” thanked the Oscar-winner for “finally (picking) up the phone.”
“He’s doing well,” assured Boyega. “And then, you know, we (are) just giving him the privacy, and we can’t wait for his return.” But the “Star Wars” actor couldn’t help but send even more encouragement to the star, telling him to “take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”
“He’s doing amazing. I promise you. Doing really, really good,” Turner shared. “(Our director) Juel (Taylor) talked to him yesterday,” revealed producer Datari Turner. “He’s in really, really good shape and spirits. And he’ll be back on the screen. He’ll be back to work very soon.” Foxx’s specific health conditions remain under wraps, but filming on his newest film with semi-retired co-star Cameron Diaz has reportedly continued with a body double.
