Taylor Swift is a powerhouse, and that’s not just the opinion of millions of Swifties, that’s the opinion of the Federal Reserve.

The Fed released it's Beige Book yesterday, and Philadelphia Federal Reserve officials reported that hotel booking had risen. Why? “May was the strongest month for hotel revenue in Philadelphia since the onset of the pandemic, in large part due to an influx of guests for the Taylor Swift concerts in the city.”

Chicago’s tourism and marketing organization Choose Chigao gave Tay credit for helping the city break hotel occupancy records.

Taylor Swift for Federal Reserve Chairperson? She’s building a resume for the job.
