Laverne Biser, a 105-year-old from Fort Worth, Texas, has been chasing solar eclipses across the globe since 1963, experiencing 12 of them so far.
He’s excited about the upcoming eclipse on April 8th because it will be the first time he’ll be able to see it from his own backyard.
His lifelong love for astronomy started in high school, and extended throughout his engineering career, and he hopes to continue enjoying it for as long as he can.
