Pay It Forward For Pets -Sage & Luna

Hi Friends…this is a tough one. Check out the cold muddy feet of the one pup…these cases make me mental.

Meet Sage, a one-year-old mix-breed pup, and his companion Luna, a three-year-old Husky. Living on the end of a chain is no life for a dog.

Summit County does not allow for this type of pet ownership; however, other counties do.

These two pups are located 45 minutes from Akron.

Both are dog-social and people-social, too.

Both are considered full-grown or medium in size; weighing in at approximately 40 pounds.

Sadly, these pups live on a chain 24/7. Dogs are pack animals and want to be with us.

Humans become part of their pack. We learned that Luna has been made to live in the winter elements, North of Summit County, for the past 3 winters and Sage for his first year of life. Further distressing, Luna and Sage have been made to endure the hot summer suns, too.

These dogs need a hero, and quickly. They need to know love and value. They need to be freed from their chains.

Pay It Forward For Pets will fund all veterinarian services for an adopter. No adoption fee will be collected.

THIS IS THE TRUE DEFINITION OF A “RESCUE.”

Might you be their HERO? Help?!
